Summer Training Institute

In the Summer Training Institute, Cristo Rey students receive training in three critical areas:

  • Personal development
  • Business etiquette
  • Entry-level office skills

Over two weeks, Cristo Rey staff, volunteers and job sponsors prepare incoming students for success in their Corporate Work Study Program assignments.

Program Benefits for Students

  • Financial Aid - work study provides a stable source of revenue to fund school operations. All CWSP earnings are applied towards student tuition, covering the majority of the cost of students’ education.
  • Real World Work Experience - students work real jobs in law, finance, healthcare, technology, marketing, higher ed and other professional settings. Students develop and hone social and technical skills in practical context.
