Service

A Cristo Rey Kansas City education goes beyond preparation for a secular life. In addition to the 3-Rs, CRKC students receive a dose of the fourth ‘R’ – for Responsibility. Through community service, students grow in empathy and respect for other human beings.Students are required to complete 20 hours of community service during each of the four years at Cristo Rey Kansas City. At graduation, a CRKC student will have accumulated 80 hours of Christian service dedicated to meeting the needs of others.

Tracking Community Service Hours

The Office of Campus Ministry tracks each student’s community service work. Students are required to return a completed form for each project. Download the required form, or pick up a copy outside the office.
