Counseling
Cristo Rey Kansas City’s counseling office helps students cope with problems at school or at home. Students can access services on request or by referral from a parent or staff member. Numerous studies confirm that it is difficult for teens to learn or to focus on school work when facing personal, social or economic issues.

Referring for Counseling
If you are noticing anxiety, depression, suspect substance abuse, are coping with the death of a loved one or family separation, refer your student for support services. Please click here, complete the attached form, and return to Michele Jordon, school counselor.
Counseling services include:
- individual counseling
- group counseling
- peer meditations and restorative practices
- referral to outside resources
- peer mentoring and peer counseling groups
- special education referrals as needed
