Campus Ministry

As a Catholic school in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, Cristo Rey Kansas City is a student-centered faith community based on mutual respect. Our commitment to these values is expressed in daily prayer, worship, reflection and service to the community.

The Office of Campus Ministry attends to the spiritual and faith formation needs of the school community, provides opportunities for personal and spiritual growth, and facilitates unique and challenging opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of self and others as humans deeply loved by God.

Campus Ministry embraces the diverse religious traditions reflected in the student population of Cristo Rey. In and out of class, students learn that the search for truth reveals God’s hand in who we are and what we do. Cristo Rey pledges to do its best for each other, for the community, and for God. Prayer and Worship

Cristo Rey Kansas City commits to the development of the whole person – spiritually, academically and socially. Through prayer and worship, students are inspired to take their faith into the world.To form young men and women of faith students at Cristo Rey

  • begin and end each day in communal prayer, and
  • gather monthly for Catholic liturgies or prayer services.
