
The safety of our students and our staff at Cristo Rey Kansas City is our priority. This page is intended as a one stop shop when it comes to providing our stakeholders with information regarding the end of the 2019-2020 school year.
- When will the school year end?
- Seniors will be finished with e-learning on Friday, May 1,2020.
- Seniors who require extra time to finish assignments/show progress will finish by May 8, 2020.
- Freshmen – juniors will be finished with e-learning on Friday, May, 22, 2020.
- Students who require extra time to finish assignments/show progress will finish by May 29, 2020.
- Final exams will be built into online classes – there will be no finals week.
- When is graduation?
- Cristo Rey is looking at an alternative date for Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation in late July.
- When is technology turn-in and locker clean out?
- Seniors will turn in laptops/technology the week of May 4. A sign-up schedule will be posted for students to select a time. Seniors will clean out lockers and return school materials the same day at technology turn-in. The same process applies to freshmen – juniors starting the week of May 25.
What about AP (Advanced Placement) tests?
- Students enrolled in AP courses will take the test at home on a date determined by the College Board. AP students may keep their laptops to use at home for the test then schedule to return it at a later date.
- How do I re-enroll my student for next year?
- You should have received a re-enrollment packet in the mail, before we went to virtual learning. You can return the packet by mail or drop it off through the mail slot at the East door (next to the Social Services Center). We will also offer in-person turn in closer to May. Stay tuned for details.
Registration is $25 plus a $50 tech fee ($75 total).
- What do students do about missed CWSP workdays?
- Students will not be required to make up missed workdays. Students will not be charged for previous missed workdays (from 2nd semester) because of the extreme situation caused by the COVID-19 crisis.
- How do students finish paying tuition or fees?
- Please contact Mrs. Taylor at 816.457.6044 to make arrangements for tuition or outstanding balances.
- Do students still need to log service hours?
- Yes. Ms. Girardin provided information about logging service hours from home.
- How will scholarships be renewed?
- Scholarship students will receive an email about renewals.
- Do you know any 8th graders or transfer students who should come to Cristo Rey?
