With cautious optimism, Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas released health guidelines that beam light to the end of the tunnel.

Cristo Rey Kansas City is pleased to present its 15th annual Dancing with the Kansas City Stars on Saturday, June 26, at the Sheraton Crown Center Hotel. With an eye on safety and common sense, event organizers are

  • capping the numbers of guests seated in the ballroom
  • creating a ballroom layout that maintains social distancing guidelines
  • requiring guests to wear masks when not eating and drinking
  • ensuring that all hotel and banquet staff abide by Marriott Hotels health guidelines
  • placing hand sanitation stations throughout the event venue.

With each new piece of guidance, our plans for the evening evolve,” said Cristo Rey’s Special Event Coordinator Meghan Tallman. “We want our guests to feel confident and comfortable. From the moment you step into the Sheraton Hotel, it will be clear that we’re changing how the evening will progress.”

The countdown is on for the  2021 Dancing with the Kansas City Stars and the starship is on the launch pad. Plan to be with us for an out of this world, foot-tapping event.

Event sponsors preferring to watch the all-star dance competition from the comfort of home will receive a link to a live-stream. In-person guests will ballot in the ballroom and hybrid guests will vote via mobile bidding.
